Recent Impact of Environmental changes In Tourism activities

Executive Summary
This report investigates the decline in the popularity of Werribee Park. The effect and the impact of both the current environmental changes and the Global financial crisis would be analysed and a market strategy would be developed to take into account the impact of these changes in the declining number of visitors to the Park.

It is evident that much has to be done to improve and consequently revive the declining popularity of Werribee Park, than blaming it all on the climate change and Global Financial Crisis. As charity begins at home, the organization of Werribee Park has a responsibility of ensuring that the local residents are aware of the diverse enrichment it has, and improve the services by making them affordable. The residents will then champion its popularity to others hence increase the number of visitors. There is importance in preserving this park, as it is of historic, aesthetic and architectural significance (Neal et al, 2006).
It recommended that more data and information is needed to both understand the declining popularity of Werribee Park and develop strategies to deal with problem. Its recommended to conducted a market research on community awareness as well into visitors satisfaction in order to be able to develop a marketing strategy (SMART) with Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time bound goals and objectives.
