Romeo and Juliet- Summative

Do you think it's possible to fall in love with someone in less than 24 hours? In the tragedy, Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare, illustrates that if a person truly loves someone they will give up anything for them, but if they hate someone they will go to any extent to hurt them. This is demonstrated by Romeo, Juliet and Tybalt's actions throughout the play. In this play, Romeo and Juliet always seem to act before they think. They always appear to do things without thinking sensibly and responsibly. Their actions portray that. Secondly, rash decisions were made and misunderstandings occurred. Lastly, death took place from both of the households due to the family feud.
To begin, if you love someone you will do anything for them without thinking of the consequences. In this play, Romeo and Juliet loved each other and within 24 hours they got married despite their parent's approval and also without thinking about their future. As the Friar marries them and says, "Come, come with me and we make short work; /for, by your leaves, you shall not stay alone, till holy church incorporates two in one. [Friar]" (II. VI. 35-37). The Friar explains that Romeo and Juliet have strong feelings for each other and they want to get married and that's why they requested the Friar to marry them. The marriage took place and everything went well. At the wedding, there were not many people present as expected. This shows that they two individuals are so in love that they forget about their family hate and the concerns between their families. Instead of having consent from their families, they went ahead and got married. Similarly, near the end of the play Romeo found out that Juliet had committed suicide but without thinking, he obtained a vile with poison to kill himself. As Romeo states, "Well, Juliet, I will lie with thee to-night. / Let's see for means; - O mischief, thou art swift, to enter in the thoughts of desperate men! /I do remember an apothecary, - /and hereabouts he dwells, - which late I noted. [Romeo]" (V, i, 34-37). As Romeo expresses that he is planning on dying that same night by going to the apothecary and getting a poison that will kill him and thus he will lie beside Juliet. As Romeo takes the vile from the apothecary, he is told that this vile can kill up to 10 people but without thinking Romeo drinks it all and now lies beside Juliet's 'dead' body.
As well as, sometimes hatred can get the best of you and make you do things that are not supposed to be done. In act III, without thinking rationally Romeo killed Tybalt because Tybalt had killed Romeos best friend, Mercutio. As Mercutio was so dear to Romeo, Romeo did everything he could to take revenge upon Tybalt and that's when death took place. As Romeo states, "Alive in triumph! And Mercutio Slain! /Away to
